Sessions may be paid for by e-transfer at the start of each session.
I do not direct bill to insurance companies at this time. However, you will be provided with a receipt for counselling services paid, which may be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement through either extended health or health spending account benefits. Coverage and the amount reimbursed will depend on your plan. Fees not reimbursed may be deductible as medical expenses on your income tax return. It is your responsibility to explore your insurance plan to determine what is covered.
I offer teletherapy (online) services to clients across Canada. Because I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor, I can offer online services to clients across the country. I ensure that all services provided meet the ethical standards expected in your home province.
By following COVID-19 safety protocols, I am able to offer sessions in person. To accommodate individual needs, I am also able to offer services online. Online sessions are provided via a secure platform that ensures client confidentiality and security of personal information.
